Ratchaburi Province
The meaning of “Ratchaburi” is ‘the land of the king’ as King Rama I was born here. Ratchaburi is a province located in central Thailand. Ratchaburi shares border with Myanmar (Burma).
Thsi province is well known for the Damnoen Saduak floating market. Various vendors sell food including deserts, handicraft items and souvenirs from Thai traditional wooden boats floating on the canals (khlongs). Major attractions include but not limited to Bo Khloung’s hot springs, Khao Chon waterfall, Khao Ngu Stone Park, Khao Bin Cave which is also decorated with colorful lights, Baan Hom Tian (house of colorful fragrant candles) and so on.
Samut Prakan (สมุทรปราการ) Province
Samut Prakan is a province situated in the Central Thailand near Chao Phraya river. Samut Prakan has many rivers, temples, crocodile farm, Erawan Museum to see. It can be a place for people who like to live out of busy city of Bangkok yet don’t want to miss Bangkok.
